Accessibility

Built to be read by everyone.

This statement describes exactly how accessibility works on this site — what the options do, when the controls appear, and what happens when scripts fail.

Our standard

Every Eyekus Digital creation ships with top-tier accessibility: working large-text, high-contrast and reduce-motion options on every page, preferences that persist across pages, complete alt text and labels, and full information parity — the accessible presentation carries all the information the visual one does.

The options

  • Large text — scales the text up across the whole page, including navigation, cards and specifications.
  • High contrast — strengthens text and background contrast in both the light and dark colour schemes, and gives controls solid borders.
  • Reduce motion — stops animation, including the scrolling strip, and removes smooth scrolling. If a page carried video, this option would pause it; this site ships no video.
  • Reduced transparency — replaces blurred and translucent surfaces with solid ones. It is applied automatically when your device asks for it, and saved with your other choices.

When the controls appear

The A+ control and the Display & motion toolbar are shown when your device reports a need — any of: prefers-reduced-motion, prefers-contrast, forced colours, prefers-reduced-transparency or inverted colours — or when you have saved accessibility preferences on this site from an earlier visit. Otherwise the A+ control is not displayed.

Device signals are honoured automatically

Whether or not the controls are shown, this site always reads your device settings: reduced motion stills the animation, forced colours are never overridden by the site's own colours, and a device asking for more contrast or less transparency gets it on the first visit, before any choice is made.

Your choices stay on your device

When you switch an option, your choices are saved in your own browser on this device and applied on every page of this site. They are never sent to a server, and clearing your browser's site data clears them.

If scripts fail

Nothing on this site is hidden behind a script. Every build in the showcase, every specification and every word of this statement is in the page itself; filtering and search are enhancements only. With scripts off, the display controls remain visible in the page, marked as needing JavaScript to switch.
